Business Event (FORMIKA GROUP), a leading Russian congress and exhibition organizer, was selected as event operator.
Over 17 years of its existence, the China International Industry Fair (CIIF) has become a major international industrial platform that promotes the development of international economic and trade cooperation.
In 2015, the Fair set a historic record both in terms of the scale and amount of exhibitors and its social impact and provided an important opportunity for demonstrating the latest achievements in intellectual production.
In 2016, the Fair will be held on November 1-5 in Shanghai, China and will span over 230,000 sq. m.
The Fair will attract participants from approximately 30 countries, including Germany, Japan, the U.S., and Korea. The Russian Federation will take part as the Main Honored Guest Country, the first to be awarded this status in the 16-year-long history of the event.
The Fair will incorporate 9 professional exhibitions covering the following key global industrial development themes:
- Industrial automation
- Industrial robotics
- New energy
- Information and communication technologies
- New energy powered cars
- Metal processing and programmable machines
- Technologies and equipment for environmental protection
- Scientific and technological innovations
- Aerospace technology
The Fair’s business program will include a Russia-China business forum, industry-specific round tables and sessions featuring heads of national delegations representing countries participating in the event and the leadership of Russian and Chinese industrial companies, as well as b2b meetings at different levels.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation is expected to lead the official national delegation at the Fair.
